Don’t Be a Patsy

Some of us are so nice we just wait for him to go away.

Or we’re afraid.  And we won’t stand up to him until/unless really provoked.  Unless we get really mad.

Well let me ask you this...just what has this economy cost you?

What has it done to your job?  To your teammates?  To your workload?

What has it done to your income?  Your bank account?   Your lifestyle?  Your retirement date?

What has it done to your vacations and  your hobbies?

What has it done to your health and your relationships?

Is that enough to provoke you into action?

Oh – you aren’t strong enough or big enough to take him on?

Hmm – I didn’t realize you were a coward.

A pushover.  A patsy.  A yellow belly.  A chicken.

Is that enough to get you to put  up your dukes?

Good – it’s time to lead your team out of this funk.

If you want some tips, read 10 Ways to Punch This Economy in the Nose.

Not ready to fight?

Okay then.  Be a patsy.   Go slump in the corner til it’s over.

The rest of us…there’s  more to gain than lose…we’re gonna go down fighting.
