Snippets for Meetings on St. Patrick’s Day

shamrockWe went online to find a nice closing for one of our St. Patrick’s Day posts and found all kinds of fun things that could be used to start or revive or end a meeting – on St. Patrick’s Day – or actually on any day.

A great way to shift the brain, spark new energy, maybe even cause a giggle or a smile.  All of which can  help you boost morale and productivity.

  • May your troubles be as few and far between as my grandmother’s teeth.

  • May the frost never afflict your spuds.
May the outside leaves of your cabbage always be free of worms.
May the crow never pick your haystack.
And may your donkey always be in foal.

  • A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures.

  • May you work like you don’t need the money,
Love like you’ve never been hurt, and
Dance like no one is watching.

  • May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.

In case you want more of these,  the biggest and best source I found was:  http://inspire.luquette.org/irish_blessings.htm

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
