With a single random act of kindness, any one of us may change someone’s day. Or someone’s life.
Here are some ideas for Random Acts of Kindness Day – or any day for that matter.
- Leave change in the coin return of the vending machine.
- Pay for the person waiting behind you to leave the parking lot.
- Make a positive comment online.
- Hold the door for someone.
- Thank a police officer.
- Deliver cookies to the fire station.
- Leave a treat for the mail carrier in your mailbox.
- Smile.
- Forgive yourself.
- Forgive someone else.
- Return a shopping cart someone left in the lot.
- Deliver canned goods to the homeless shelter.
- Be kind to someone you dislike.
- Buy coffee for the person behind you in line.
- Laugh.
- Give a gift card to the person working at the drive through window.
- Pay someone’s utility bill.

- Donate books to the library.
- Shovel snow for someone.
