Quote of the Week: Take the first step

Nothing written, nothing shared – our dreams are doomed to fail.

And if we never take action, they will never be more than dreams.

Yet, if we act without a plan, our dreams could become nightmares.

But if we wait on a perfect plan, we may never act.

Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.

These words from Martin Luther King Jr. urge us to take the first step.  It could be a small step.  Jot the dream on paper.  Share the idea with others.  Spend 10 minutes creating a plan.  Take step one of the plan.

Just take a step in faith.  Whether it’s faith in a higher being; faith in our cause; faith in our colleagues, our team or ourselves.

He urges us to take a step.

Unless you are content to say,  “It was just a dream.”
