We were so impressed with the show of class at Notre Dame , we wanted to spread the word and make it easy for businesses to implement, so we created a few game day tools for businesses. One of them – ready-to-go welcome signs.
This weekend, Carolina plays the Cavaliers from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
If you have a business in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area, please post welcoming signs in the door, windows and/or counter tops.
A simple message. Easy to print and post.
Take it a step further and ask staff members to greet UVA fans by saying “Welcome to Carolina.”
For an added touch, prepare your staff with tidbits about UVA like:
- UVA is in Charlottesville, Virginia.
- Their colors are dark blue and orange.
- They are the Virginia Cavaliers.
- They also call themselves the Wahoos. A good question to ask them would be “What is a Wahoo?” Here are a couple of articles in case you’d like to do a bit of advance research. Being a Wahoo and What is a Wahoo?
A welcome sign, a verbal welcome, a bit of background info to show we care. Such small gestures that involve little to no cost but have great meaning. And show definite signs of class – business class.
P.S. Of course, we also encourage you to show your support for the home team.
An easy way is to post these signs.
