We were so impressed with the show of class at Notre Dame in 2006, that we wanted to spread the word and make it easy for businesses to join in and so we created a few game day tools for businesses. One of them – ready-to-go welcome signs.
On Saturday, September 3, Carolina plays the Dukes from James Madison University.
Would you like to join us by posting welcome signs in the door, windows and/or counter tops?
Here is one of the signs we’ve created:
A simple message. Easy to print and post. See below.
Take it a step further and ask staff members to greet JMU fans by saying “Welcome to Chapel Hill”, “Welcome to Carrboro” or “Welcome to Chapelboro“.
For an added touch, prepare your staff with tidbits like:
- James Madison University is in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
- Their colors are purple and gold.
- They are the Dukes.
A welcome sign, a verbal welcome, a bit of background info to show we care. Such small gestures that involve little to no cost but have great meaning. And show definite signs of class.
And of course, we also encourage you to show your support for the home team. An easy way is to post these signs.
