This week’s Quick List* is a companion piece to our Quote of the Week: The Way You Talk to Yourself.
If you want to boost morale and productivity…improve retention and engagement…keep this page with you for 10 days. Make a note of negative thoughts, critical thought, judgments.
At the end of 10 days you may have a blank page. If so, great. But most of us won’t have a blank page. Most of us do it more than we realize. One negative, judgmental thought after another. Pounding us down, down, down. Doing quite a number on morale and productivity.
Tough to do anything to boost the morale and productivity of our team members when we are ready to scream, punch somebody or curl up in a corner somewhere.
But you’ve taken the first step. Becoming aware most always helps to silence the critic which usually gives us the courage to come out of the corner. A boost to our own morale and productivity. Which makes it easier to help others.
If awareness isn’t enough to silence the critic, put some of these tools to work.
