If you want to become a better manager or leader, say these ten sentences to yourself every day.
1. I love who I am.
2. I love who I am.
3. I love who I am.
4. I love who I am.
5. I love who I am.
6. I love who I am.
7. I love who I am.
8. I love who I am.
9. I love who I am.
10. I love who I am.
You may be asking, “But if I love who I am, do I need to become a better leader?”
Yes – we can always become better at whatever we do – no matter how long we have done it.
And those of us in leadership positions owe it to those we lead to work extra hard at this.
Loving who we already are makes it easier to to open up. To people and possibilities.
It will boost your morale and productivity. And theirs.
P.S. To help yourself remember to do this, print this page and post it in a prominent place. Go to Quote of the Week: I love who I am for printable, postable reminders for your computer screen, mirror, visor, etc..
P.P.S. Before meetings, at stop lights, waiting in lines…feel free to “love up” on yourself in more detail….reminding yourself of all the ways your are unique, cool, special.
P.P.P. S. If you already do affirmations, that’s great. Keep doing them. Fold these into your current program.
