Quote of the Week: Same damn thing

life is one damn thing after another

2011 is another year.  Sure to be full of one damn thing after another.  More bad news about the economy.  More customer complaints.  More missed deadlines.  Another broken truck.  Another computer crash.  More boring meetings.  More stupid reports.  The same brown suit.

What do you love about your office space, your team, your vendors, your clients, your workload?

What drives you crazy about your office space, your team, your vendors, your clients, your workload?

Which ones drive you craziest?

Starting at the top, look for things you can do to reduce the craziness.  Even the smallest thing.

What would it feel like if you could reduce the craziness?

What would  it look like if you could get less of what drives you crazy and more of what you love?

Keep lots of notes.   Draw a picture.

Perhaps this is your new vision for 2011.

Brave enough to ask the same questions of your teammates?

Perhaps in your next one on one meeting with each of them?

Or perhaps in a team meeting?

Good do wonders for morale, productivity and overall performance.
