We were so impressed with the show of class at Notre Dame in 2006, that we wanted to spread the word. We also wanted to make it easy for businesses to implement and so we created a few game day tools for businesses. One of them – ready-to-go welcome signs.
On Saturday, November 13, Carolina plays the Hokies from Virginia Tech.
Would you like to join us by posting welcome signs in the door, windows and/or counter tops?
Here is one of the signs we’ve created:
A simple message. Easy to print and post. See below.
Take it a step further and ask staff members to greet Virginia Tech fans by saying “Welcome to Chapel Hill” or “Welcome to Carrboro”.
For an added touch, prepare your staff with tidbits like:
- Virginia Tech is in Blacksburg, Virginia.
- Their colors are maroon and orange.
- They are the Virginia Tech Hokies.
A welcome sign, a verbal welcome, a bit of background info to show we care. Such small gestures that involve little to no cost but have great meaning. And show definite signs of class.
And of course, we also encourage you to show your support for the home team. An easy way is to post these signs.
