Sitting on the log is nice every now and then, but after a while it usually feels a bit foolish. And has a way of doing a number on morale and productivity. But jumping off can have the same affect. No wonder we sit there so long sometimes.
Here are 10 questions to help you decide whether to jump or just get off the log.

- What would jumping do to improve your productivity, morale, health and happiness?
- What about for those around you?
- What do your answers to questions 1-7 tell you?
a. If they aren’t good enough reasons, just get off the log. It’s okay. You just changed your mind and now it’s time to congratulate yourself for getting off the log with only eight questions.
b. If the reasons are still good but other things are more important right now – simply delay. Better yet – assign the log to someone else. And congratulate yourself for getting off with only eight questions.
c. If the reasons for jumping off the log are still real good – the reward big – go to question #9
