News Release: The Final Push to Blanket Orange County  – Chapel Hill, NC (12-17-09)

Thanks to the generous donations of Orange County residents and their friends,   Blanket Orange County organizers have delivered 194 new and gently used blankets to the homeless shelter.  With winter only four days away and snow predicted to fall at any time, the timing couldn’t be better.

This year’s goal for Blanket Orange County is to collect 300 blankets by December 21 for the homeless in Orange County. Monetary donations received today will buy enough blankets to get the total to 250.

That leaves us 50 blankets away from goal.
