Hoodie-Hoo-Day

February 20 is Northern Hemisphere Hoodie-Hoo -Day.

At high noon (local time) citizens are asked to go outdoors, wave their hands in the air  and yell “Hoodie-Hoo” to chase winter and make ready for spring, one month from now.

Hoodie-Hoo-Day was created by the folks at Wellcat.com. Check them out, along with a few photos taken during a Hoodie-Hoo-Day celebration.   Here’s the link.

Seems to have been created by and for people who suffer from cabin fever about this time of year…which would certainly put a damper on morale and productivity alike.   And to go outside at noon, wave your hands in the year and yell “Hoodie-Hoo”?

Well – that sounds like just the kind of nonsense that would do some good for a body and soul.  And for a whole team.  Whether it’s Hoodie-Hoo-Day or not.

So – no matter what what day or time it is when you are reading this…

Hoodie-Hoo to you!
