In celebration of Confucius Day (September 28), we dug up some Confucius sayings.
- Confucius Say: Man who eat crackers in bed wake up feeling crummy.
- Confucius Say: Man who sit on tack get point!
- Confucius Say: Man who jump off cliff, jump to conclusion!
- Confucius Say: Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement.
- Confucius say: Man who know that many Confucius sayings, got too much time on hands.
Confucius* lived long before our time yet knowing some of his REAL sayings would be a very good use of time and could save us all sorts of time.
Our Quote of the Week is an example.
This is a critical lesson and reminder for any manager or leader who teaches, communicates or delegates.
For people to understand a task, concept, situation, project, responsibility, etc – it’s not enough to just tell them.
We also need to show them and let them do it or get involved somehow.
And then – we need to stay involved long enough to make sure they do understand.
What if we don’t?
Then they probably won’t either.
A waste of time, resources and relationships.
*Confucius (551–479 BC)was a Chinese teacher, editor, politician, and philosopher. According to Wikipedia, “the philosophy of Confucius emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity.”
