Quote of the Week for Left Handers Day

Before you read this week’s quote, let me assure you, I am not left handed. “The right half of the brain controls the left half of the body. This means that only left handed people are in their right mind.” I selected this quote in celebration of Left Handers Day. Seemed good for a laugh right here in the middle of August – a hot, hot, hot, hot month for many of us. Perhaps a much needed substitute a la Milton Berle* for  the few of us who are NOT on vacation right now.

(*Milton Berle once said, “Laughter is an instant vacation.”) So – share this with your team for a little laugh and perhaps a bit of morale boosting banter between lefties and righties. Take it a step further to help you and your team members

  •  get to know each other better
  • celebrate differences
  • look at things from a different perspective
  • try a different way
  • remember that there is no right way (or right mind)

Or – back to the original intent – you can simply chuckle at its cleverness. For ideas, see:  10 Ideas for Left Handers Day Oh yes – and if you haven’t already done so, sign up here for a Monday morning BOOST for you and your team – the Leadership Quote of the Week delivered to your email box each Monday morning.
