I’ve been involved in lots of mid-year team retreats and planning sessions lately with people who want to take charge, make things happen and inspire others to do the same. And while they eventually have to make decisions and commit to goals and plans, having an open mind has a way of bringing out some of the best ideas, solutions and plans. And seems to have a wonderful effect on the spirit.
Not bad for morale and productivity either. And overall performance. Only temporary though if those decisions and commitments are never made. So be sure to do that part too!
